ECOCERT
ECOCERT is French certification of
organic cosmetics, and the label is used in more than 80
countries.
Products marked with ECOCERT must, among other things, declare
which percentage of the ingredients is organic, and which
percentage are natural substances. If the goal is to obtain the
ecological certification, the minimum requirement is that 10% of
the ingredients are organic and 95% are natural substances.
The ECOCERT certification is a guarantee that the product does
not contain synthetic colours, synthetic fragrances, etc. The
certification has high demands on the packaging of the product
(re-usability) and marketing of the products.
